On May 9, 2009 at the Doubletree Hotel in Mission Valley, Soror Hope Mitchell from the Mu Sigma Zeta Chapter, was an honoree at the 20th annual Breakfast for MiLady honoring mothers hosted by the Delta Sigma Theta Alumnae Chapter. Sorors from the past who have been honored are Soror Lena Smith, Soror Kimberly Steimkhe, Soror Sylvia Nard, Soror Patricia Frances, Soror Elizabeth Riggs, and Soror Carolyn Buck.
